About UsOur vision is easier, better care for everyone impacted by chronic illness. We believe that this can be achieved by enabling those with an illness, their family and friends, and healthcare professionals to get organized, share the care, and work together effectively. The Care Tools were inspired by my father's illness, and my family's journey with caregiving. He wanted to stay at home as long as possible. We wanted to provide him with the best care. After he passed away, we made the tools publicly available to help anyone who might benefit. Our core team consists of Robert Bowden, Ph.D., P.Eng., founder and leader of the organization, Karen Flood, Ph.D. RCC, leader of care support, and Johnson Lee, B.A., leader of our IT group. Our success is due to a large team of contributors and supporters - users, caregivers, healthcare professionals, NGOs, media partners, etc. - who believe in our vision and continually assist to develop, test, share, promote, endorse and write about The Care Tools. These contributors and supporters are part of our team, and we're grateful for their invaluable contribution. If you believe in our vision and would like to help us achieve it, with your ideas, effort or funding, please contact us.
